Running a renewable energy portfolio means making decisions that cross teams, systems, and disciplines. A change at one site can affect maintenance priorities, financial forecasts, and commitments to partners. Making sense of those connections takes people—and those people deserve thoughtful tools.
That is the motivation behind Lighthouse Apps: helping people and companies work through the challenges that get in their way.
Our approach starts with human-centered design. We want to understand how people actually work: where they lose time, what causes frustration, which decisions are difficult, and what they need to move forward with confidence. Those everyday experiences give us meaningful problems to solve.
With Flux Energy, we’re applying that thinking to renewable energy. We’re bringing operational and financial work into a connected environment, with the aim of helping teams understand what is happening across their portfolios, what it means for the business, and what needs their attention. The details matter: how someone finds an answer, hands work to a colleague, or follows a decision through to its outcome.
We’re also motivated by the possibility of creating tools that don’t yet exist. Listening closely to people can reveal needs that familiar approaches leave unresolved. We want Lighthouse Apps to be a place where those needs become starting points for invention, and where new ideas are shaped by the people who will use them.
