Get help without
leaving the work

Search in the words you already use. Flux Energy opens the right screen, shows the steps, and explains unfamiliar terms without sending you to a separate manual.

  • Every sidebar view covered

  • Acronyms explained on hover
  • Always current with the product
761step-by-step guides

The answer usually lives in one person’s head

  • The vendor's documentation describes the software. It doesn't describe your month-end, your ISO, or the three screens a settlement analyst actually touches.
  • Year-end tasks happen once a year. By the time they come around again, the one person who knew the sequence has changed roles.
  • The industry runs on acronyms. LBMP, CfD, P50, ELCC. A new analyst spends the first month decoding screens instead of using them.

Search once. Get the kind of help you need.

1. Open a guide on the right screen

761 guides, each a numbered sequence for one job, with the sidebar path in the first step and a deep link into the view. Search finds them by the words operators use, not the words the menu uses.

2. Follow a playbook across several screens

233 playbooks chain guides in order: month-end close, 1099 season, a curtailment from log to compensation. Previous and Next Guide walk the chain. Step navigation is formally specified, so the sequence can't skip or loop.

3. Explain an acronym where it appears

158 terms from the app's own glossary. Hover any acronym on any screen for the short expansion; click for the full definition. The same glossary is indexed in search and, yes, it runs on this page too.

4. Search using the words your team uses

269 synonym groups map what people say to what the guide is called. "Locked out" finds MFA setup. "Bat curtailment" finds the wildlife curtailment guide. Ranking is tested against a corpus of real operator questions.

Make hard-to-remember work easier to repeat

Help on every main screen

Every screen you can reach from the sidebar has a guide behind it, all 107 of them. If it's on your screen, the help desk already knows how to explain it.

Keep annual tasks from becoming tribal knowledge

1099 season, permit renewals, insurance certificates, year-end close. The playbook holds the sequence so the team doesn't have to.

Concepts with proof behind them

167 "what is X" entries, one per module, each citing the tests that prove the capability. What the feature pages on this site claim, the concepts catalog can back.

The acronym finder is running on this page

Hover or click any of these. SCADA feeds production events. The settlement engine prices them at LBMP or the PPA rate, applies CPI where the contract escalates, and holds a REC share back. Lenders read the P50 and P90. Storage dispatch sits under the ISO's rules and the ELCC it earns. Your team's SOPs cover company-specific policy and judgment. Same glossary, same wrapper script, as inside the product.

Common questions

How fast can a new hire be productive?

From the first login. Every screen has a guide that names the sidebar path in its first step, search accepts the words people already use, and the jobs that cross several screens come with a playbook. Nobody needs to sit beside them.

What happens at month-end when the one person who knows the sequence is out?

The sequence is in the playbook, not in their head. Close a Monthly Settlement walks whoever is there from processing the settlement to approving the payment batch, in order, with each step opening the right view.

Do we still need our own SOPs and wiki?

For what is specific to your company, yes. For how to do the work in Flux Energy, no. The platform's own workflows are covered end to end, so your internal docs shrink to policy and judgment rather than click-by-click instructions.

Is this a chatbot?

No. Every answer is a written, numbered sequence someone can check, found by a search that understands operator language. Nothing is generated on the fly, so the steps are the same for everyone and can be trusted at year-end.

Will it keep up as Flux Energy changes?

Yes. The help desk is built from the product itself and checked against every view on every release. A new screen cannot ship without its guide, and the counts on this page come from the same source.
